MATERIALS & CARE
Materials
We use yarn spun from a unique blend of British wool, which makes up only three percent of the world’s wool, and New Zealand wool.
This combination offers distinctive qualities:
・Exceptional durability and remarkable resilience
・A natural lustre that develops beautifully with use
・Special anti-moth treatment applied during dyeing, along with the fibre’s inherent deodorising properties
Care
Trim any loose fibres with scissors.
For regular care, we recommend gently vacuuming two to three times a week or using a lint roller.
With consistent maintenance, excess fibres, pilling and dust will be removed, allowing the rug to develop a rich, lustrous character over time.
Product Characteristics
As each rug is entirely handmade, slight variations and minor differences from the stated dimensions may occur.
For the first six months to a year after initial use, the wool fibres undergo a settling-in process. During this period, fine loose fibres, pilling, and dust may become more noticeable.
This is not a product defect. Over time, the loose fibres will diminish.
This is not a defect and will naturally diminish over time.
When unrolling a rug, creases or slight curling may appear, but these will ease with use.
New rugs may also carry the natural scent of wool, which will gradually fade as the rug settles into its surroundings.
